You are invited to a very fun event at the Del Ray Artisans Gallery! There will be all kinds of “Solstice Activities taking place at this reception. Art in Meditation – The Chakras celebrates the seven energy centers of the body, or chakras, and the associated meanings, moods, and colors (see chart of the chakras). The exhibit is juried by contemporary artist Jeff Erickson.
About the juror: Jeff Erickson is an abstract artist, based in Alexandria, Virginia. He uses oils and cold wax medium to create contemporary paintings anchored in nature. He exhibits in galleries primarily on the East Coast, and his work can be seen locally at Principle Gallery in Alexandria.
