“NOCTURNE:PHOTOGRAPHS AFTER DARK” EXHIBIT

Waxing Freedom by Karin Edgett.

Waxing freedom was taken in July 2021 as the waxing moon was passing over top of the Freedom statue on the top of the US Capitol. This stature was erected with a lot of faith during some very dark and tenuous times in our country. I always like to think of freedom as the most fundamental goal of us a collective people, and we continue to move in that direction though many a misstep!

Photo Art Folio exhibition

An exhibition that explores the transformative beauty of the night. From the quiet serenity of moonlit landscapes to the vibrant energy of urban nightlife, this collection captures the mystery, intrigue, and unique atmosphere that emerge under the cover of darkness. Each photograph in "Nocturne" invites us to see the world through a different lens, offering diverse perspectives on how night alters our perceptions and experiences. Congratulations to our winners, honorable mentions and all the artists whose work we’re honored to include in this show!
