This is a self portrait of me behind the US Capitol Building ~ merging the energy of flowers
This is round 2 ~ another 35 photos of people from Washington DC area masked and flowered. The show will be up for a while, no telling how long.
It’s viewed from the sidewalk at 605 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington DC.
The images are lit, so it can be viewed both day and night.
alchemy ~ merging energies
In the year 2020, I am intensely interested in color, shape and pattern of flowers for they contain a new energy, a higher vibration. I have taken over a thousand photos of their details, seeking always to capture their magic. I have used these flowers to create energetic mosaics of over 150 selected images.
I have asked people to participate by sending me ‘selfies’ in their masks. Occasionally, I was able to get close enough to take their photos myself. These masks represent many energies; fear, silence, protection, safety, beauty, compliance and even survival.
When I merge ‘masked selfies’ with energy contained in my flower mosaics, the symbolic image of the soul is “retooled’ into its original state, which is pure freedom and peace. Each mosaic is unique and balanced to the exact needs of the soul it is blending with.
Most of the portraits featured in this show are from Capitol Hill. The show will be updated from time to time.
This project is a consciously intended alchemy for this year, to assist in ushering in a more balanced, peaceful, and free existence for everyone.
