New Year ~ an opportunity to Re-Create with Love
This blog is posted on my birthday, January 6, 2025, my official New Year celebration!
January 6, aka 3 Queens Day, the day three very wise women and their spouses traveled far to bestow gifts to a new family, a new era if you will, and the day of gift-giving still in many cultures.
I don’t know exactly why I was born on this day, a holy day to some, nor do I know why my family never considered this the official gift-giving day, but here we are, beginning a new year; 2025.
The gift I am giving is another message, this time from a pink rose with a particular petal that takes the shape of a heart. The message is simple, yet has the potential to shift everyone who receives it.
Recreate with Love
Recreate with Love is the card from my Botanical Vision deck that has come up in several readings lately. And I thought it was a good message to share with others for the new year.
The first time was for a young student who was struggling with perfecting his music to the point of feeling stuck in a loop of guilt over too much time being spent and fear of judgement from inevitable audiences. He chose this card “re-create with love” featuring the heart shaped petal of a sweet pink summer rose. It resonated, an alternative high-vibrating perspective to replace the ones keeping him stuck.
The second time was Gail Blair, another friend who called me with a very enthusiastic response to pulling this same card from her personal Botanical Vision deck when asking about setting the tone for 2025. She immediately figured out that she could recreate everything, stories, perspectives, relationships, anything could be tweaked or re-written with Love. She even came up with an invocation for her process;
Let anything I have created and perceived in separation from Love come into alignment with Love NOW!
Recreate with Love can be applied to just about anything and any time. Try it for fun, or make it serious. Think of something or some situation that fills your heart with love, it could be anything from a climb to a mountain top to playing with a kitten, or a good laugh with friends. Remember that feeling and conjure it up anywhere you feel there is a lack of love. This feeling of Love can be applied to help create something new in paintings, or to re-write stories you carry in your heart and mind heavily. It can be used to shift interpersonal relationships too, especially the ones you have with yourself. You may feel the shift immediately, or it may take some time to settle in, but it will shift.
Myself and nearly everyone I know could use at least a little tweaking or recreating with love somewhere in our lives, so I hope this message brings you all some inspiration!
Happy New Year,
Karin
